Την Κυριακή 11 Ιανουαρίου πραγματοποιήθηκε η 83η τελετή απονομής των Χρυσών Σφαιρών στο Beverly Hills. Τα βραβεία Golden Globes είναι τα πρώτα σημαντικά της σεζόν και θεωρούνται προπομπός των Όσκαρ τα οποία θα απονεμηθούν στις 15 Μαρτίου 2026.
Στη λαμπερή τελετή που έλαβε χώρα στο Μπέβερλι Χιλς, τις εντυπώσεις κέρδισε η ταινία "Η μια μάχη μετά την άλλη" (One Battle After Another), με πρωταγωνιστή τον Leonardo DiCaprio, αφού απέσπασε 4 βραβεία από τα 9 για τα οποία ήταν υποψήφια, τα περισσότερα που κέρδισε μια ταινία στις φετινές Χρυσές Σφαίρες και συγκεκριμένα αυτά της Καλύτερης Tαινίας στην κατηγορία Κωμωδίας, Σκηνοθεσίας (Paul Thomas Anderson), Β' Γυναικείου ρόλου (Teyana Taylor) και Σεναρίου (Paul Thomas Anderson).
